Wir haben uns Anfang November auf den Weg in das vielfältige Land gemacht.Wir sind in den Nordwesten des Landes gereist, von Fez nach Chefchaouen, von Chefchaouen nach Meknes und zurück nach Fez. Abends war es dabei in allen drei Städten recht kühl, wobei das überall in Marokko der Fall ist, auch in Marrakesch.
Grundsätzlich fanden wir es etwas schwieriger die richtige Kleidung für Marokko zu packen. Darüber hinaus ist der November auch der Übergangsmonat in Marokko. Während es tagsüber ziemlich warm sein kann (ca. 20 Grad Celsius), wird es nachts richtig kalt. In Marrakesch ist es zwar etwas wärmer als in den anderen Städten. Der Temperaturunterschied zwischen Tag und Nacht ist trotzdem sehr unterschiedlich.
Marokko ist nicht nur unglaublich vielfältig, sondern es ist auch ein sehr großes Land. Auch wenn es recht leicht zu bereisen ist, können die Entfernungen können ziemlich lang sein. Das macht es natürlich schwerer, die perfekte Kleidung zu packen.

Marokko ist ein riesiges Land, das solltest du bei der Planung deiner Reiseroute im Hinterkopf behalten. In Marokko scheint die Sonne nicht immer und überall, daher musst du deine Kleidung gemäß deinem Reiseziel und Aktivitäten auswählen.
Außer im Gebirge ist es unter Tags ab April bis November überall sehr heiß und trocken. In Marrakesch musst du manchmal mit über 40 Grad rechnen. Die kältesten Monate sind der Dezember, Januar und Februar.
Grundsätzlich kann man Marokko jedoch das ganze Jahr über bereisen. In den Wintermonaten ist es wechselnd herbstlich und angenehm sonnig, sodass wir auf jeden Fall eine kleine Auszeit von den kalten Wintermonaten in Deutschland bekommen.

Da man Marokko grundsätzlich das ganze Jahr über bereisen kann, ist ein Städte -Trip jederzeit möglich. Wir empfehlen im Frühling oder nach der extremen Sommerhitze nach Marokko zu Reisen. Kleiner Insidertipp: Manche Riads haben auch einen Pool, was perfekt für die heißen Sommertage ist.

Die Wüste kann man das ganze Jahr über besuchen, wobei es im Juli und August sehr heiß und unangenehm werden kann. Unser Herbst und Winter empfielt sich schon eher, wobei ein warmer Pulli für die Nächte nicht fehlen darf.

Obwohl Marokko überwiegend muslimisch ist, ist das Land entspannter als einige seiner östlichen Nachbarn. Die meisten wichtigen Touristenziele haben sich an Ausländer und ihren Stil gewöhnt.
Wir selbst sind nur mit Handgepäck gereist. Wir haben jedoch einen weiteren Koffer eingecheckt. Da Dani schonmal in Marokko war, wussten wir, dass wir das ein oder andere Souvenir kaufen werden. Die Souks erwarten dich mit unzähligen kleinen Läden und tollen Produkten. Nur sehr gut verhandeln solltest du können.

Auch wenn die Marokkaner recht offen gegenüber Touristen sind, ist es uns wichtig kulturell respektvoll zu sein: Dafür muss man in Marokko nicht auf sehr vieles achten.
Bedecke stets deine Schultern und deine Knie. In ländlichen Gegenden sind grundsätzlich nur lange Hosen oder Kleider zu empfehlen.
Eine Kopfbedeckung braucht man nicht, jedoch ist es gut einen Schal für religiöse Stätten mitzubringen.

Marokko eignet sich gut, um als Frau alleine zu reisen. Es gilt als sehr offen und vor allem tolerant. Dies können wir grundsätzlich nur bestätigen. Wir haben uns immer sicher gefühlt und hatten auch nicht das Gefühl, dass das Land sehr gefährlich ist. Nichtsdestotrotz haben wir unseren Kleidungsstil angepasst und wir empfehlen gerade an abgelegenen Orten darauf zu achten angemessen gekleidet zu sein.
