Para ello, remoja el pescado en agua durante varias horas o incluso toda la noche y acl\u00e1ralo con cuidado.    <\/p>\n<p><strong>Paso 2<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Limpia el ackee: Si tienes la suerte de tener Ackee fresco, \u00a1limpialo! Recuerda: Nunca fuerces un ackee para que se abra, si a\u00fan no est\u00e1 abierto, \u00a1no est\u00e1 maduro! <\/p>\n<h3>C\u00f3mo limpiar el ackee:<\/h3>\n<p>&#8211; saca el ackee de la vaina<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; quita la semilla negra<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; elimina el tejido rosa<\/p>\n<p><strong>Paso 3<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En una sart\u00e9n con aceite caliente, saltea el pescado salado picado, el pimiento verde picado finamente, las cebollas, los ajos tiernos, el tomate y el tomillo hasta que los condimentos tengan un aspecto transl\u00facido.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PASO 4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Utiliza suavemente una esp\u00e1tula para incorporar ahora el ackee con los condimentos salteados. Despu\u00e9s se cultiv\u00f3 ampliamente en todo el Caribe. El ackee es un \u00e1rbol de Sapindaceae, la familia de las bayas del jab\u00f3n.  <\/p>\n<p>El \u00e1rbol del ackee fue tra\u00eddo a Jamaica por primera vez en 1778 por un capit\u00e1n que iba a bordo de un barco negrero.
