Ich kam nur nicht mehr dran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mein Portemonnaie war verloren gegangen und ich brauchte dringend Bargeld. In diesem Moment half mir keine <a href=\"https:\/\/unique-universe.blog\/de\/die-besten-kreditkarten-zum-reisen-2026-welche-karten-ich-wirklich-mitnehme\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"10388\">Kreditkarte<\/a> und auch kein gut gef\u00fclltes Bankkonto. Was mir half, war Western Union.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seitdem habe ich den Geldtransferdienst auf Reisen noch h\u00e4ufiger genutzt, unter anderem im <a href=\"https:\/\/unique-universe.blog\/de\/libanon\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"8458\">Libanon<\/a>. Dort war w\u00e4hrend meines Aufenthalts das Bankensystem wenig verl\u00e4sslich und Bargeld im Alltag besonders wichtig. Western Union war f\u00fcr mich deshalb nicht nur eine Notl\u00f6sung, sondern zeitweise der einfachste Weg, \u00fcberhaupt zuverl\u00e4ssig an Geld zu kommen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">F\u00fcr gew\u00f6hnliche Reiseausgaben nutze ich weiterhin meine Kreditkarten. Eine vertraute Person kann dir Geld zur Barabholung schicken. Unter bestimmten Voraussetzungen kannst du auch Geld an dich selbst senden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Die g\u00fcnstigste L\u00f6sung ist Western Union nicht unbedingt. Genau das wird einem oft erst bewusst, wenn der Geldbeutel pl\u00f6tzlich weg ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ich hatte weiterhin Geld auf meinem Konto, konnte es vor Ort aber nicht wie gewohnt nutzen. \u00dcber Western Union konnte mir Geld geschickt werden, das ich anschlie\u00dfend in bar abholte. Das l\u00f6ste mein eigentliches Problem nicht, verschaffte mir aber erst einmal wieder Handlungsspielraum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seitdem bewahre ich meine Hauptkarte und meine Ersatzkarte getrennt voneinander auf. Auch mein Reisepass befindet sich nicht im Portemonnaie. Das ist besonders wichtig, weil du f\u00fcr eine Western-Union-Auszahlung normalerweise einen akzeptierten Lichtbildausweis ben\u00f6tigst.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><mark style=\"background-color:var(--global-palette6)\" class=\"has-inline-color\">In L\u00e4ndern mit instabiler Infrastruktur<\/mark><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Im <a href=\"https:\/\/unique-universe.blog\/de\/libanon\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"8458\">Libanon<\/a> war die Situation eine andere. Mein Portemonnaie war nicht verloren und meine Karten waren nicht gesperrt. Trotzdem konnte ich mich nicht darauf verlassen, dass der Zugang zu Geld \u00fcber Banken, Geldautomaten und Kartenzahlungen so funktionierte, wie ich es aus Deutschland gewohnt war.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bargeld spielte im Alltag eine gro\u00dfe Rolle. Geld auf einem deutschen Konto zu besitzen bedeutete also noch lange nicht, es vor Ort unkompliziert nutzen zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Western Union gab mir eine zus\u00e4tzliche M\u00f6glichkeit, Bargeld zu erhalten, ohne vollst\u00e4ndig von einer bestimmten Bank oder einem einzelnen Geldautomaten abh\u00e4ngig zu sein. Das war nicht immer die g\u00fcnstigste L\u00f6sung, aber eine, die funktionierte. Und manchmal ist genau das entscheidend.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><mark style=\"background-color:var(--global-palette6)\" class=\"has-inline-color\">Wann ist Western Union f\u00fcr Reisende sinnvoll?<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Auf meinen Reisen w\u00fcrde ich Western Union vor allem in folgenden Situationen in Betracht ziehen:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dein Portemonnaie wurde gestohlen oder ist verloren gegangen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deine Kredit- oder Debitkarten wurden gesperrt.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ein Geldautomat hat deine Karte eingezogen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deine Karten funktionieren am Reiseziel nicht.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Du brauchst Bargeld in einem Land mit eingeschr\u00e4nkter Bank- oder Karteninfrastruktur.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Eine vertraute Person muss dir kurzfristig Geld ins Ausland schicken.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\">Western Union ist f\u00fcr mich keine Alternative zu einer guten Reisekreditkarte.
